ITINERARY

Our tour starts at Japan Square (Batel) or we can pick you up at your hotel (central region hotels).

We embark towards Campos Gerais, going up the São Luiz do Purunã mountain range, towards the second plateau of Paraná.

We arrive at the São Luiz do Purunã lookout point, where you can have a beautiful view of the canyons and Devonian escarpment present in the region.

From there, we follow the main street of São Luiz do Purunã to appreciate its peaceful center and cross the trench under the BR to reach Tamanduá Road. Here we begin the Historical Fields of Tamanduá.

We follow Tamanduá Road enjoying the beautiful landscapes and take the path to the impressive Arches Bridges, which divides the municipalities of Balsa Nova and Porto Amazonas. It is 585 meters long and 60 meters high at its highest point.

We will not go over the bridge, instead, we return along the path we came to Cachoeira do Bruel, where water pans and waterfalls form within a private reserve. There we will have a structure for snacks and liquid replacement.

We continue on again along the Tamanduá Road and will descend the mountain through the famous Serra do Amola Faca, a beautiful path embedded in the middle of the native forest and which will give us access to the center of Balsa Nova, where we end our ride.

Return to Curitiba.

If the weather forecast for the day of the tour is not good, the tour will be postponed to a date to be defined in agreement with most of the participants. If someone is unable to participate on the new date, we will refund the full amount paid.
