Verde e Mar Coast

Day 1 – Barra Velha / Navegantes

Departure from Barra Velha for the beginning of this beautiful 5-day trip. On that day we will travel through the northern part of Costa Verde e Mar, we will pass through Piçarras and visit some beaches on the beautiful coast of Penha, such as Praia do Trapiche and Praia Grande and we will finish our ride in Gravatá in Navegantes.

Day 2 – Navegantes / Praia do Estaleiro

Breakfast and departure to cycle along Gravatá beach to the Farol de Navegantes, a good break for photos and continuation to the Ferry to cross to Itajaí.

In Itajaí, we start at Cabeçudas, Praça dos Molhes and the Caminho de Xinxiang. After enjoying the view of the Molhes, we continue along the hill that gives access to the north corner of Praia Brava de Itajaí, the famous Canto do Morcego. We continue along the beach, along its entire edge, until we reach Estrada da Rainha, and arrive in Balneário Camboriú with a beautiful view of the crooked bike path and the whole edge of the city.

In Balneário, ride along the entire length of the beach to the Molhe da Barra Sul.

We will cross the Camboriú River by the Barra walkway, heading to Interpraias Park.

We will pass by some viewpoints on the way, it’s a road in the middle of the preserved Atlantic Forest, passing through Laranjeiras, Taquara, Taquarinha, Praia do Pinho, which is one of the first nudist beaches in Brazil. We finished our ride at Estaleiro Beach.

Day 3 – Praia do Estaleiro / Praia de Zimbros

Breakfast and departure by Interpraias, passing by Estaleirinho, and arriving at BR 101 in Ilhota. In this part we will take the only stretch of BR during these riding days, 3km between Ilhota and Praia do Canto.

We pass by Meia Praia, Itapema Beach, Perequê, and Porto Belo, and finish the ride crossing Morro de Zimbros, a difficult hill but worth the view. Descent to Zimbros and overnight.

Day 4 – Praia de Zimbros / Bombinhas

Breakfast and departure to Bombinhas, this day we will pass through the fishing villages of Zimbros and Morrinhos until we reach Canto Grande.

We continue along the entire length of Mariscal Beach, passing by the beautiful 4 islands with its rough sea and beautiful coastline, passing through the center of Bombinhas to Retiro dos Padres, we take a break for a snack and some photos and return to the center from Bombinhas, where we will stay overnight.

Day 5 – Bombinhas / Itapema

On our last day we will cycle through Bombinhas, and go towards Bombas. We will do the Praia do Ribeiro trail, go through the entire length of the cycle lane by the sea, and from there we will cross to Porto Belo. There, we will take the Caixa d’Aço road, pass through Araçá and Caixa d’Aço until we reach the Ponta do Araçá viewpoint. We return to the center of Porto Belo. The trip can end here or you can cycle to the Itapema bus station if you want to take the bus back to the starting point of the cycle. Returns will be made either in Porto Belo or at the Itapema Bus Station.

Ending in: Porto Belo – 20Km / Itapema – 29Km
