A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT OUR DESTINATIONS
MORRETES
Founded in 1726 by miners and adventurers in search of gold in the region, it is a picturesque town full of charm, with a strong heritage from the colonial period, in addition to being surrounded by the Serra do Mar, which makes nature its main companion. The city is considered one of the pearls of the coast of Paraná, normally sought after by tourists looking for rest, a pleasant climate, good food, and history.
ANTONINA
A historical city whose first traces of occupation were found in the shell mounds. Later, the indigenous people of Carijós inhabited the place, and the first settlers date from 1648 and 1654. In addition to the extraordinary natural beauty of the landscape, and the sad history of slavery, Antonina has in its cobblestone pavement and in its ruins, stories, which enrich its patrimony. The municipality also offers several tourist attractions.
GUARAQUEÇABA
In Tupi-Guarani, Guaraqueçaba means “Place of Guará”, a very reddish bird that was abundant in the region, but nowadays is almost extinct. Colonization of the region began with the arrival of the Portuguese to the state of Paraná, around 1545. The city is located within the largest Atlantic Forest reserve in the country, surrounded by islands, deserted beaches, endangered animals, waterfalls, and history.
